Instead, Baldur's Gate was merely a prelude to Shadows of Amn. Shadows of Amn develops the plot lines, characters, and events introduced in the first game into a mature, genuinely interesting fantasy tale. Players who thought the original game shallow will be pleasantly surprised by Shadows of Amn's bold story arcs. Major events are afoot, and the characters' choices have a real impact on the Forgotten Realms. Well, if you want a break from those big games and want a small but pretty fun First Person, get Deadly Dozen. Based off of the real dozen of misfits, you can use many different vintage WWII Weapons, like the Thompson, Springfield and the famous M1 Garand. Don't be fooled if it is in a bargain box. It is delightful and has many other features best left secret. It barely takes up much of your hard drive and loads easily. PLus, download the patch and improve it. All in all, it is a good game with a good engine, so-so graphics (that's why it got a four) and good gameplay (like 17 buttons with three men, ten without) it can keep you happy.

		Ghost Recon	URL http://www.clandir.com/?game=Ghost_Recon Set in the year 2008, Ghost Recon is a Tom Clancy-inspired war game that puts you in command of a Special Forces unit pitted against Russian ultranationalists trying to rebuild the former Soviet Union. Although the story arc is grand in scale (in keeping with Clancy's style), the game doesn't involve you in the war's major battles. You'll actually spend most of your time behind enemy lines--rescuing downed fighter pilots, knocking out enemy patrols, ambushing armor columns. You control a six-man squad, divided into two teams, and you have the opportunity to handpick your squad members (and their equipment) after each mission briefing. You can switch your point of view to any of the six active soldiers--the soldier you control automatically becomes the leader of his team, while the other team operates according to orders you give via a map interface. Thus, you can move one team into a covering position, leave them with orders to provide cover fire, and then lead the other team in to reach your objective. Or, break up your squad and try to achieve two objectives simultaneously.

The graphics were impressive, the action was intense, and multiplayer was an absolute blast. The saga continues with Desert Siege, the first expansion pack for Ghost Recon (the full version is required to play Desert Siege). For fans of Ghost Recon, Desert Siege is a must-have game. This time the action is set in Africa. The year is 2009 and Ethiopia has invaded neighboring country Eritrea, which doesn't sit too well with the rest of the world. The Ghosts--an elite team of Green Berets--are sent in to clear the way for a larger land-based campaign. The single-player game features eight new missions, which vary between night and day and consist of a variety of objectives. One mission, for example, has you destroying the remains of a downed spy craft, while another has you securing a train depot.

Between the awsome graphics and the huge envirment with the ability to do what ever you whant, be careful beacuse you might think your in a real war! When i say do any thing you whant I mean anything. You can do anything from walking to driving a 5 ton truck to commanding an M1A1 to flying an A10. I've always been a fan of war games and I tell you this is buy far the best. ... No game i mean no game i worth buying over this game!

Adrian Shephard, one of the soldiers sent to clean up the scientists and their reality-altering mess. Just as in Half-Life, things quickly go badly for Colonel Shephard and his men. Ambushed by aliens, Adrian must fight his way through the ruins of the facility in an attempt to reach a helicopter extraction point. What makes Opposing Force shine is the way it expands on the story of Half-Life. Colonel Shephard passes though areas that players of Half-Life are sure to recognize, and he occasionally runs into characters from the original game, including the infuriating Man in Suit. Opposing Force also introduces several new weapons, such as a sniper rifle (with scope), heavy machine gun, and a .357 Magnum with a laser sight. There's even a "weapon" that is actually a common alien creature from the first game its unique features allow it to be used as a kind of grappling hook.

Harvester, one of the expansion's new play modes, has players venturing into the center of the arena for objects that they must then bring to the opposing team's base (think football with guns). Another new play mode is Obelisk, where players try to destroy the enemy's obelisk. The mission isn't as easy as it sounds: obelisks slowly regenerate when not being attacked. There's also the kind of stuff you'd expect from an expansion pack. The chain gun and nail gun are both back (you gotta love the classics), as well as a proximity grenade launcher. There are several new capture-the-flag and deathmatch maps, and now teams can design their own skins and logos as well as choose from different character heads.

It's been nearly 10 years since Wolfenstein 3D forever popularized the first-person shooter, and at long last everyone's favorite Nazi killer, B.J. Blazkowicz, is back in Return to Castle Wolfenstein. Set during World War II, Return to Castle Wolfenstein finds the Nazis dabbling in the black arts in an effort to create an army of supersoldiers. Naturally, Blazkowicz is the only thing standing in the Nazis' way, so he's set behind enemy lines in an effort to end the madness. On the surface, the single-player game seems like pure gold--after all, everyone loves killing Nazis. But the story jumps all over the place, the enemy AI is less than impressive, and most gamers will be able to finish the game in a mere 10 to 15 hours. The single-player game falls short of the standards set by titles such as Half-Life and No One Lives Forever.

Teams are rewarded with cash based on their performance in the round, and money can be used to buy items from the inventory. Tactical Ops: Assault on Terror focused on action over realism (the kind you see in action movies), but includes many scenarios that could be torn from today's newspapers.
		Unreal	URL http://www.clandir.com/?game=Unreal Unreal was originally released to be a DOOM killer back in DOOM's prime time, but the entire project was screwed up, so it ended up getting released in 1998. The GRAPHICS of Unreal were unsurpassed at the time. No one could match it. Although today, it can be matched, 1998 was the time of Starcraft, so from there you can get a view on how much superior it was than back ago. Graphics: 9/10 The sound in the beginning of the game is pretty good. Although it is a bit scary at first when you hear blood-curdling screams while you try to escape from a prison ship and when you are about to get off, you see a heart fly out of a door way, it is all covered by excellent sound. The music is also pretty good. Not excellent, but still good enough. Sound: 8/10
